"Be patient in building up cinematic moments, and combine technical components to ‘say’ something beyond what you show /give your audience a reason to ‘feel’ in addition to ‘seeing’

Consider cinematic shots like salt- they can enhance the flavors present in a scene. too much salt feels heavy handed and insecure, rendering a scene’s flavor indistinct, or worse, inedible. Not enough salt suggests lack of care or attention, and forces your audience to wonder what’s missing."
